Digital lens technology offers both fashion and function benefits. Digital prescription lenses are not only as precise as humanly possible, they also help eliminate distortion giving you the added flexibility to choose from a larger variety of frames.

Unlike traditionally surfaced lenses, digital lenses are made using free-form surfacing technology, which cuts the design and prescription on the back surface of the lens. With free-form digital lenses, power accuracy is within 1/100th of a diopter compared to 1/8th of a diopter with traditional surfacing, thus providing you with an exact prescription rather than rounding to the nearest setting as in traditional lenses.

This new technology provides both the greatest peripheral vision and the highest definition of clarity as thousands of points across the lens surface are optimized for each individual prescription.
